What can you expect when you attend our Sunday service? Glad you asked, please allow us to give you an overview of what a service generally looks like at LWM.
Welcome to the House of the Lord! We are glad you're here!
Welcome everyone to the house of the Lord. Our greeting team do just that. They will offer everyone a smile, a welcome, a bulletin and a guest card for our first time guest. Also, we have a reception in the lower level for any one worshiping with us for the first time immediately after the service.
That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 18:19
If you or someone you know needs prayer - please fill out a prayer request card and give to greeter. If God has answered your prayer - please fill out a praise report and give to greeter. You will see people coming forward for prayer and others gathering around them to agree with them on a particular request. You are welcome to come forward when invited for special prayer.
Why do we pray for the sick by laying on of hands and anointing with oil?
"...let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith shall save the sick..."
- James 5:14-15
"...they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."
- Mark 16:18
Prayer works! We have seen hundreds of healings, miraculous miracles, relationships restored, lives changed, brokenness mended, open doors, and yes even closed doors! All because we serve a wonderful prayer answering God who heard our prayer!
We love Children and have a passion to teach them valuable Biblical lessons that will greatly help them in their life!

Prayer doesn't prepare you for the battle, it is the battle.
We begin the work of the Spirit of the Lord in our corporate prayer time before service. The prayer room and the Sanctuary is lifting up prayer, meeting our spirit to His Spirit for HIS Will, HIS plan, HIS purposes to be accomplished as we join together as a church body.

Preaching of the Word

- 2 Timothy 3:16-17
"The altar is where we respond to the preached WORD of God and bury the WORD deeper within our hearts."
Bro. Phil Cappuccio
LWM has a different concept of the Altar service. While we do appeal for those who want to give their lives to the Lord in repentance and be filled with HIS precious Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38) The altar is also open for those who want to respond to the preaching and bury the word deeper into their hearts so it can grow and not be snatched away. The altar is where we draw closer still to God. . So there are no preconceived ideas when someone responds to the WORD and makes their way to the front. We will meet you where you are and pray with you. We all need the altar of the Lord in our life.
